The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

Chapter-6

Disappeared out of the blue

“Well, I have to admit that Windwood was some sort of a god to us with Mr. Lock at a time but now he is nothing more than a crooked and a selfish person in the present scenario” he said ending his tale. I took leave from him soon afterwards. It was really a fascinating story but it didn’t seem to be linked somehow to my case or the mystery. After finishing some paper work and reports I called up the local police station where I was informed about plenty of odd happenings in the valley and the disappearances that occurred recently. They told me that during a daily collection session a woman with a infant child that worked in the collectors association disappeared instantly as she was about to leave for the work. I was really curious about this particular disappearance because it just happened in a matter of minutes and not even far away from the group.

I thought that it would be best if I stayed low for a couple of days and just inquire on my own with the town folks. So, I went on with my plan and disguised myself as a curious traveler who is very inquisitive about the disappearances and is willing to offer any help that is possible. Well, technically I am a tourist as I have no official order to scrutinize the mystery but I can ask for any official help as a head detective from the government when needed. When I discussed the matter with the locals I was not able to discover anything of importance except that the woman before disappearing was sort of terrorized because of something unknown from the morning. This fact led me to the idea that she must have been threatened long before or she knew that she was the target of those people. Whatever was the matter nothing was clear and perceptibly it wasn’t a typical kidnapping case that occurred in this sort of areas.

So, to discover the reality I mixed up with the collectors while they were plucking their flowers for the perfume factory and herbal uses. I talked with them for quite a while and started my discussion with some usual greetings and matters of life as collectors. Then I jumped on to the main topic for which I was going through all the trouble, to my astonishment even the family members of the missing woman and infant didn’t knew anything about the disappearance. Now everything was going out of control, the closest people to the missing were the woman’s mother who stated that her daughter and infant granddaughter just disappeared out of the blue!

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

Chapter-5

Series of disturbance

It was around four days after the incident, Mr. Lock purchased a fine slice in the northern estates and Oliver helped him to start the foundation work of the building. Everything thing was going smoothly when one morning the workers refused to work and called a day off, they said that the two and quarter inch pipe system of the LPG somehow broke last night and the whole building was in danger to set fire. But the matter of surprise was that this awful accident did not occur even when there were almost (MORE THAN 50) cigarette lighters lit together at the same time, some anticipated that the gas must not have covered a considerable area to set fire to a deadly explosion. The second absurdity of that incident was that the group of labors working at that place fell victim to some kind of nasty migraine and allergy. The work stopped for a week till the time workers healed, the building was complete in 8 months with an advance factory compartment and well made apartments for workers of the collectors association.
In the first month of the production, the business bloomed and money came raining for all the people related to the association. Workers, maids, managers, collectors and the head management got many more than they expected to get. Mr. Lock and Windwood made quite fortune and earned respect of the whole community of the valley, new colonies were set and slums were replaced. “I myself respected the two gentlemen more than anyone, but for one that respect vanished in one night and the other… he..h..he was not left to be respected’ He added with some treble in his voice. “It was the day of celebration for us who worked there in the factory, the two gentlemen were going to reward the top 20 best workers of the year. I was the best so I was the last one as they gave the rewards in descending order with same process while distributing the prize money, as I was going to receive the reward a bullet came gushing through the window and killed Mr. Lock. “It was...was……ri...Right in front of me and he died. We had our days of extreme mourning and pain but it turned into agony and rage when Windwood took over the whole company without any authorization and gave the financiers contract to the Shread’s. Everyone except few of the workers were bothered by the death of their master because they were getting even more increments and bonus money every month. We, the people who were really loyal to Mr. Lock were troubled and disturbed by his death so we left the company and started our own small scale industries. From that day Windwood turned out to be the traitor who did not cared for his friend and gave the financiers contract which meant 22 percent of the profits to the most wicked business man. More over that was the contract over which Lock turned to his fists and received many for his friend…..

Outrageous Past: The story of two friends

“Around 40 years ago, the indigo valley was not a famous city but a city full of slaves of rich” the man continued.” “Mr. lock was a young merchant who came from the west Europe with some special fragrances of the west. When he saw the valley he was amused by the beauty of the valley. He wanted to start the business on the very land and he settled in the place. He soon started looking for the men and women for employment in collectors association so that he could start his factory. He needed men for the labor work, so he got them from the village, now he needed a good financer for the company. “One day I was passing by the road when I saw two people mugging each other.” He continued with some pause. When I closed up the distance I found that they were talking and fighting over some financing stuff. Soon I understood that they were talking about financing the new company of a man named Mr. Lock as I did not knew at that time. “Guess who those people were?” he asked in between.”Well, if we consider the facts from your story, they must be Lock and Windwood.” I replied. “I expected you to say that! Chap!” he uttered with some confidence. Well, but they were lock and Mike Shread the grandfather of Albert Shread the CEO of the Red Shread Planet. The matter of that commotion over there was the possession of the financer’s contract; Mr. Lock was a man of his word and kept his promises well. He gave his word to Oliver Windwood the grandfather of Harvey Windwood the CEO of the Great Windwood Company which was a timber trading company at that time for the contract. Mr. Lock and Oliver were good friends and Oliver helped Lock quite a few times before he came to the valley, so it was obvious for him to give the contract to Oliver. But Shread who owned a small wooden handicraft industry that helped him make considerable fortune needed the contract for expanding his business.”What happened to the mugging incident” I asked when he completely forgot about that. “Nothing much except that the Shread broke his nose as he fell a victim of Lock’s fist. Afterwards people helped them [muggers] to keep their fists under control. But the most freakish and perhaps the most disturbing incident happened after that…..

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

Chapter-3

The Collectors Association

As I went through the city I saw many people carrying baskets and a tool which looked liked a very long forceps with a wooden handle. I saw many people having such gear so I just asked an old man having the same things sitting on pavement of a building. He told me that these were his flower collecting gear, the forceps kind of thing that they called inglo was tool that helped in plucking many flowers in a row and then of course the basket was used to keep them safe. I soon realized that these were the ancient flower collecting traditions that I read in a report given by my officer before I came here. It mentioned that some of the flower collectors were also reported missing while searching the east side of the indigo valley. So, I thought of investigating about these collectors. I headed for the collectors room which was at the municipality ring. I was a bit surprised that municipality owned the collectors association. It was a big building with beautiful lawns and gardens, according to the map outside the building, the building was divided into two parts one was the office and other was the store and transport section.  After some time I saw a stone statue at the rear left corner of the big building, I asked a man sitting under the building. “Excuse me old man, can you tell me something about the statue at the rear left corner” “Well, stranger it is the statue of the founder of the collectors association Mr. lock.” He said. I was surprised to know that Lock was the founder of the association as I have seen many posters around the city that claimed Windwood’s the founder of the association. When I asked the man about the issue he got mad “Windwood’s are the traitors, they killed lord Lock and claimed that they were the founders!” He said very fiercely. “What do you mean, please tell me more?” “Okay as I do not want travelers to believe that those traitors are the founders I will let you know after all it is a long story….

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

The Mystery of The Indigo Valley

Chapter-2

Exploring through the city

As soon as I received the letter I was on my investigation. I took a flight from London to the Indigo city, called the grand Indigo. I found out that the city was very beautiful and the air was full of indigo fragrance their were many brands in the city which made very amusing and kind of creepy perfumes from flowers of the great indigo valley. The great wind wood industry owned by the windwood family and the Red shread planet owned by the Shred family are the two most popular and majestic companies of the state those make finest and the most expensive perfumes of all world. These two families were very found of each other and were close competitors too. The indigo city was a city full of the flowers of deity as the people told me when I reached the public vegetable market. The first step of my investigation was to be in touch or rather make friends with the popular citizens of the city and then start collecting clues. Well, the possible reason was that these people are great help or themselves are the culprits.

As I was Supposed to give a brief account of social and economic status of the city with the description of infrastructures

The city's back is covered by snow covered mountains. The city is almost spread in a region of 17 kilometers and is surrounded by indigo valley with patches out spread inside the city too. The Sante La river divides the city in two half's, the bigger half is the main region of the city and the 8 percent of the total land cover is owned by Shreads and the other part consists of municipality buildings civil homelands and some slums. The other half is owned by Windwood family and that is lot of area. The economy of the city is conquered by two companies and some traders. The 48 percent of the economy is conquered by the Windwood's. 41 percent by the Shred's, 7 percent goes to traders and left 4 percent  to common people. Their are two railway stations and a small airport, environment is clean and the none is exceedingly poor.

Duty Calls

A silent room full of luxuries. The door knob turned and a man with a mysterious face entered in the room he sat on the table and started writing, I am a detective one you already know about. 6 years ago I solved a mystery that made me a billionaire.  My name is Henry Rutherford, I recently received a letter from general that informed indirectly that three of our men have been disappeared from the indigo valley. Indigo valley is a place full of indigo flowers some of them are also even related with the herbs used in the potion of greater healing. some of our confidential reports said that their is a recent development of some type of poisonous flower in  the valley which is responsible for the deaths of two tourists. But these flowers were never found. I am already a wealthy man, but then also siting at home is not really my thing, so I thought that I should stick on my job after all having money respect and a high rank as a cop is a perfect condition. I  haven't solved cases for a while but then also this time this is going to be fun. This times the duty calls.

Mystery Of the Wrecked ship

Mystery Of the Wrecked ship

End of Misery (A New Hope)

Chapter- 16

“What are you doing is it a joke or something else” said Count (Doc. Slither). “No we are not as I am second in command of the slithers so I will kill you and take command over the rights you posses” Inga said. “So that means that I have to... Take the last measure. If you destroy me I will also destroy you all” he said. Although that did not affect the group but I saw that Slither was carrying a remote control which was hanging behind his belt. I immediately got the hint that he3 was carrying something terrible with him. I pulled doc as Inga and others shot the doctor and he blew up the charge which he was carrying with him all the time I suppose as for his talks. The blast was not big but its shock wave was beyond imagination we reached a distance of around 40 feet on our hells but we still got thrown apart. We both fainted and got hurt more than the last fall. As soon we got up we could see that all the people around were dead and there was no sign of Slither. Doc was not able to help vomit three or four times. The best thing was that now we could look for the treasure without any problems, we kept looking on the ship in a condition like of day dreaming about the bloodbath. We went into the engine room of the ship where we saw to rocks kept at the corner of the old boiler. I took out a knife and scratched the rock it was diamond! A whole diamond rock it was possibly smuggled by the slithers from a mine but know we have found it at last I cleared my differences with the villagers and went to ,my city I solved a mystery that has troubled many detectives. Government gave me 40 percent of the rock to me it was about 33 kilograms so this was how I discovered a treasure from a wrecked ship.
 The end
